Destination of the Day: Brauer Museum of Art, Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, IN (Porter County)

Universities almost always have fantastic art museums, and this is no exception. The permanent collection includes works by Junius Sloan, William Bradford, Ansel Adams, Georgia O'Keeffe, Paul Sierra, and Faith Ringgold. Until 8 May the museum will be showcasing works from high school and university art students. While touring the campus do not miss the Chapel of the Resurrection.

Public Transit (always confirm schedules)-

Auto (always confirm route)-
Note: It is HIGHLY recommended that travelers print a campus map prior to departing. Many university campuses are difficult to navigate
-Take I-94 to the South Randolph Street/Ripley Street exit (Exit 15-16)
-Continue on Route 130 (street name changes) to Roosevelt Road
-At Roosevelt Road, turn south to LaPorte Avenue
-At LaPorte Avenue, turn east
-At McIntyre Court (campus entrance), turn south
-At Chapel Drive, turn east and continue to museum
