TGIF Chicago! C2E2 is getting bigger every day and we just can't hold back all of the awesomeness that we have in store for you! We decided to hit you with a special Friday edition of the newsletter and we've got some more big Guest Announcements to round out your week! How often do you get to meet the artists who bring comic fans everywhere the biggest and baddest superheros of all time? We know this isn't an every day occurrence... but guess what? All of your fanboy and fangirl dreams will come true at C2E2 2012! We are hyped to announce that five of Marvel's top creative artists will be coming to C2E2! Not only can you meet all of this amazing Marvel talent at the show but a select few of you could sit down to dinner with some of Marvel's top guys! We are finally ready to make a couple of lucky fans dreams come true by announcing all of the details on our Annual C2E2 Dinner in the one and only Chi-Town. This C2E2 rocket ship is pointed towards the stars and our engines are firing on all cylinders! We can hardly wait to share more of the C2E2 awesomeness next week!


Some of our favorite comic artists will be joining us this Spring at C2E2! Joe Quesada, Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment and Axel Alonso, Marvel's Editor-in-Chief, will be joined by other notable Marvel creators including Jason Aaron, Rick Remender and Dan Slott. Make sure you check these guys out at the Marvel booth and have a chance to learn about the latest Marvel products, promotions and more!

C2E2 is setting up a truly spectacular dining experience at Girl & the Goat, owned by Stephanie Izard, 2011 Food & Wine Best New Chef and Top Chef Season Four winner! On April 13 at 8:00 PM, 12 lucky fans will sit down to a family style menu chosen by Chef Izard, including five waves of food and a wine pairing. The meal is only half of the experience as you will also be dining with some of the best in comics: CB Cebulski, writer and talent scout extraordinaire, Joe Quesada, Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment and acclaimed writer of Wolverine, Jason Aaron. Tickets go on sale on February 29 at 12:00 PM CST and are $375, but the opportunity is priceless!

Calling all fans of Battlestar Galactica, stand and salute Lieutenant Boomer! That's right, Herbert Jefferson Jr., is headed to the Windy City for C2E2! Herbert has graced the stage on hit television shows, movies and a couple of Broadway plays... not a bad resume! We are ecstatic that such a notorious actor will be coming to C2E2, make sure you pay this Lieutenant a visit!



David Newell

Speedy delivery for you Chicago! David Newell, our favorite delivery man known as Mr. McFeely, will be coming to see C2E2 fans this Spring! The actor is best known for his role on the classic Mister Roger's Neighborhood that everyone has grown up with and enjoyed. We can't wait to see what special delivery he has for fans in a few months!

Looking for love in all the wrong Cantinas? Come join us for a round of C2E2 Speed Dating, brought to you by our friends at Sci-Fi Speed Dating! Enjoy good music, great company and the thrilling potential to meet your own super hero or shinobi! Speed Dating's blind dates last three minutes, but if sparks fly, you're set for a lifetime of love. Five sessions will be held at C2E2 and they're free for C2E2 attendees, sign up by April 5 to guarantee your spot!

Sunday, April 15 will be our annual Kid's Day with all activities geared towards our superhero's in the making! Go out and get the best costume your kids desire for C2E2 Kid's Day! All children 12 and under are admitted free of charge and we encourage you to snag your ticket before our ticket mailing deadline on March 23!
