This well-meaning museum is the only one in the Chicago region dedicated to American Indians. While the Field Museum has a much larger and better organized gallery, this museum has the passion. Current exhibits include "Through the Eyes of the Eagle: Illustrating Healthy Living for Children", "Carved with Care: Zuni Fetishes and Carvings", and "The Teaching Lodge and Wigwam". Worth about an hour of exploring.
