Equality Illinois
Please join Equality Illinois for a Transgender Community Social on Saturday, November 13 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at The Glenwood in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood. This fun event will include live entertainment featuring a transgender cast, as well as drawings for door prizes. What it's really about is socializing together in a space where all are welcome, including those who are under 21 years of age! While there is a suggested donation at the door of $5, it's just that—a suggestion.
The Glenwood is located at 6962 North Glenwood Avenue in Chicago and is very accessible via public transportation. It is immediately west of the "L" Red Line Morse stop, located between Morse and Lunt. There are also bus lines available. If you drive yourself—and hopefully a few friends, too—there is street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood.
